What You'll Do

Every shift is different! You'll help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for our shelter guests by:

• Greeting and assisting guests with professionalism and respect.
• Monitoring the safety and security of the facility.
• Conducting routine rounds throughout the shelter.
• Assisting with guest check-ins and daily operations.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and shift reports.
• Responding calmly and appropriately during emergencies.
• Helping ensure the shelter remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Working collaboratively with Case Managers and other staff to support guest success.

Experience in human services, security, customer service, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person!

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid New York State driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to pass all required background checks.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
