Job description:

Roscommon Traditional Music School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Guitar Teacher to join our expanding team. We are looking for either classical guitar and/or standard/contemporary guitar instructors to provide lessons to students of various ages and ability levels.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured guitar lessons (classical or standard)
• Support students in developing technical ability, confidence, and musical expression
• Prepare students for performances or exams (if applicable)
• Maintain good communication with parents and the school administration

Requirements:

• Reasonable knowledge and proficiency in guitar performance
• A genuine interest in music education and working with young learners
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not essential
• Reliability and good interpersonal skills

Hours:

• Flexible schedule (primarily afternoons and evenings)
• Suitable for freelance musicians, teachers, or students of music

Remuneration:

• Pay rate to be discussed at interview, depending on experience
