Gym Trainer – Job Description

Position: Gym Trainer / Fitness Trainer
Location: Revive Fitness Center, Medical College, Kozhikode, Kerala

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and professional Gym Trainer to join our team at Revive Fitness Center. The ideal candidate should be passionate about fitness and able to guide members safely and effectively toward their fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide members on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
• Create personalized workout plans based on members’ fitness goals.
• Conduct fitness assessments and track member progress.
• Provide guidance for weight loss, muscle building, strength, and general fitness.
• Ensure members perform exercises safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gym environment.
• Ensure weights and equipment are properly re-racked after use.
• Assist members with basic fitness and workout-related queries.
• Motivate members and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Support the gym team with daily operations and member engagement.
• Follow all gym safety and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Gym Trainer/Fitness Trainer is preferred.
• Good knowledge of strength training, cardio, and basic fitness principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, disciplined, and professional attitude.
• Ability to motivate and work well with gym members.
• Fitness certification such as CPT / ACE / ISSA / K11 / equivalent is an advantage.
• Freshers with relevant fitness knowledge and certification may also apply.
