Hair Valley is a growing and modern hair and beauty salon located in Westfield Hurstville. With over 12 years of industry experience, our salon is known for professional haircare services, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming team environment. We specialise in style cutting, colouring, blow drying, treatments, keratin smoothing, foils, balayage, hair extensions and nano plasty. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients to analyse hair condition and recommend suitable hairstyles, colouring, and treatments
• Cutting, trimming, tapering, layering, and styling hair using professional hairdressing techniques
• Performing hair colouring services including tinting, foils, balayage, highlights, toners, and colour corrections
• Providing hair treatments including keratin smoothing, Olaplex treatments, scalp treatments, and deep conditioning services
• Shampooing, blow drying, straightening, curling, and finishing hair according to client preferences
• Applying and maintaining hair extensions and other specialised hair services
• Maintaining salon cleanliness, hygiene, and professional presentation standards
• Recommending and promoting salon haircare products and services to clients

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Hairdressing (Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of modern hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy salon environment
• Passion for the hair and beauty industry with a professional attitude
