Hairstylist for teaching
Are you passionate about hair and eager to share your knowledge? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced hairstylist to join our team as an instructor. This is a full-time position teaching in our well-equipped Academy
What you'll do:
- Teach: Deliver engaging lessons on all aspects of hairstyling, from cutting and coloring to styling and current trends.
- Inspire: Motivate and mentor students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Evaluate: Assess student progress through practical and theoretical evaluations.
- Lead: Provide guidance and support to help students build a strong foundation for their careers.
- Manage: Maintain a safe and organized classroom.
- Career-Focused: Prepare students for successful careers in the hairstyling industry
- including hands-on training, classroom management, and student evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Hairstylist: member Skill trade Ontario
- Years of Experience: Minium 4 salon experience
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information and build rapport with students.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of cutting, coloring, styling, and current hair trends.
- Experience in a Salon Environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Work Location: In person
