Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hand Cutter to join our dynamic Plastics team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tooling and materials handling, with the ability to read blueprints and utilize various hand tools. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring that materials are cut accurately and efficiently to meet production demands. You will also ensure vinyl is correctly applied to sign faces to meet customer expectations.

Duties

· Lift up to 75 LBS

· Bend up to 40 degrees and twist up to 45 degrees

· Able to tell the difference between colors

· Requires fine hand manipulation and dexterity

· Basic math and measurement skills

· Cut art designs from patterns onto plastic or metal signs

· Position and measure signs for pattern location

· Operate and maintain all vinyl department printing equipment :(vinyl plotter, etc.)

· Weed, mask and apply vinyl materials to sign substrates

· Read and interpret drawings

· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting minor issues during the cutting process

· Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace

· Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

· High School Diploma preferred, but not required

· Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
