Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be able to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to interpret schematics and work with electrical systems. The Handy Man will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and functional.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
• Supervise and lead small teams during maintenance projects.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Interpret and work from schematics for electrical systems and logic controllers.
• Perform welding tasks as required for repairs or installations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar Handy Man or maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs across various systems.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
• Experience with electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £27,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
