Our mission is to create a welcoming and approachable environment for all types of people to enjoy and explore the world of wine. Our goal is to establish a restaurant that offers top-quality food at affordable prices while delivering exceptional value to our valued customers.

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team and play a key role in building a successful and innovative wine bar. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating a diverse and exciting menu that complements our extensive wine selection. You will have the opportunity to shape the culinary direction of our establishment and create an unforgettable dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a creative and diverse menu that appeals to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences, with a focus on quality ingredients and exceptional flavors.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the menu aligns with the overall vision and concept of the wine bar.
  • Oversee the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Build and lead a highly motivated and skilled culinary team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
  • Manage inventory, monitor food costs, and ensure efficient use of resources to maintain profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Stay updated with culinary trends, techniques, and innovations, and incorporate them into the menu when appropriate.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with a demonstrated ability to create innovative and well-executed dishes.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and experience in different cuisines.
  • Proven leadership abilities and the ability to build and motivate a culinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for wine and a willingness to learn and pair wines with different dishes.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,398.89-$60,000.00 per year
