About the Role

The Head of Business Intelligence and Professional Learning provides strategic leadership in using educational and wellbeing data to enhance student learning and support continuous improvement across the College.

This Middle Management position focuses on developing reliable systems for tracking progress, identifying trends, and ensuring data translates into purposeful action, through mentoring, curriculum delivery, and program evaluation.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Work closely with the ICT Manager and Database Manager to review and implement systems for tracking student progress and achievement.
Establish and lead procedures for data analysis, tracking, and student mentoring aimed at improving outcomes.
Maintain oversight of curriculum delivery via the School Box Learning Management System alongside the Program Leader Information Services and Digital Pedagogies.
Support individual staff in the performance ongoing career development though annual reflection and goal setting processes.
Provide support for daily organisation and timetabling responsibilities as required, under the guidance of the Vice Rector Operations and Community.

Skills and Experiences:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Current Queensland Teacher Registration (or the capacity to obtain)
Knowledge of curriculum development in Queensland and the AITSL Professional Standards
Demonstrated experience in leading staff of Master’s degree or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in working with information systems (student information systems, data tracking and learning management systems
