A Strategic Role at the Heart of Global IT
As Head of strategic areas covering among others IT operations, Regional IT, IT Security and Group Enterprise Applications such as finance-, commercials-, pharma applications, you will lead key functions that drive solid, secure, and well performing services across our global organisation.

You will head a large organisation of many engaged professionals, who ultimately ensure that our business is solidly enabled from an IT perspective and that our colleagues across the world can enable our customers. Overall, this role combines strategic leadership with end2end responsibility across key domains of DSV’s global IT landscape. Here, you set the direction and ensure excellence, resilience and innovation at scale.

In close collaboration with your leadership team, you will be the catalyst for continuous development and transformational change across your area through new and existing technologies. Furthermore, you will serve as a trusted partner to executive business stakeholders ensuring clear and consistent communication enabling transparency, and that strategies and deliveries are tightly aligned with the corporate and IT strategy.

This role is part of the Global IT Executive Committee at the centre of a modern, forward-thinking and engaged top management team in Global IT.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the areas to secure stability, efficiency, and high availability across all core services.
• Effectively communicate vision, strategy, and progress to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Defining and driving strategic initiatives within cloud, automation, security, and enterprise platforms.
• Ensuring that IT and cyber security are fully integrated and anchored across the organisation.
• Developing and empowering a high-performing leadership team across the areas.

Strategic IT leader with strong change and execution abilities

With strategic vision and deep operational insight, you drive execution, innovation, and long-term value. You possess a clear sense of accountability, and you see things through to ensure results.

Through your career, you have built a proven track record of influencing at executive level, coupled with extensive experience leading technology-driven business transformation.

Additionally, the right candidate:

• Is forward-thinking and passionate about applying new technologies to deliver innovative and sustainable change that creates measurable value for the organisation.
• Has solid experience with IT Operations and Application Management in an enterprise environment.
• Has proven experience in transforming organisations within technology, processes and people.
• Possesses a strong understanding of cybersecurity and have led enterprise-wide security initiatives.
• Demonstrates exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Works in a data-driven way and have experience using data analytics in decision-making.
• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
