Head Of Finance

The Head of Finance will work closely with the Genesis CFO and Genesis Group Finance and senior management within ReGEN. They will lead the development of financial strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives. They will be responsible for leading the Finance team in maintaining a strong control environment and all the Company’s internal and external reporting requirements as well as overseeing Fund raising and strategic planning and forecasting.
The Head of Finance will be an ambitious professional, with a strong financial background, presently working as a Head of Finance/Finance Director role and senior leadership experience within Aircraft Leasing or parts trading.
This is an excellent opportunity for the preferred candidate to liaise and work with multiple departments within a start-up aircraft parts trading business in a well-positioned aircraft leasing company, with strong long-term shareholders.

Role and Responsibilities

Full responsibility for all aspects of finance within ReGEN including Financial Reporting, FP&A and Corporate Finance
Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Oversee/manage the debt-capital funding lines.
Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and optimise financial performance.
Coordinate and manage external audits, liaise with auditors, and address audit findings.
Preparation of internal management accounts, loan portfolio reports and board updates
Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and financial reporting.
Leading the assessment of business development opportunities within the firm
Liaising as required with key stakeholders both internally and externally,
Assist senior management in developing financial plans and strategies to achieve organisational goals and objectives

Skills and Experience

Candidates must be a qualified accountant with 10 years' relevant post qualification experience.
Experience in debt funding, business forecasting required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
Ability to produce insightful reports and disseminate key information to support decision making
Proven experience working in Aircraft Leasing desirable
Track record in delivering to deadlines and driving continuous improvement while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Experienced using various systems, excel and other applications
