ABOUT THE ROLE

Following an internal promotion, we are currently looking for our next Head of Indirect Procurement to join us at The Absolut Group and be part of our Pernod Ricard global procurement organization!

In this exciting role you will execute the global procurement strategy for Marketing Services and Business Services categories, boosting procurement maturing across the company, as well as ensuring that the business has access to indirect procurement resources optimally deployed. You will be the key interface between business functions and procurement teams located in various parts of the world.

You will be responsible for working across the whole TAG brands portfolio and your focus will span between strategical and operational.

Strategy

Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximize value in Indirect categories – A&P and Business Services. Be responsible for the strategic direction and management of local procurement activities incorporating the overall sourcing process and sustainable procurement of associated goods and services.
Work with the procurement community to align indirect procurement strategies with overall company goals and initiatives, animate ecosystem stakeholders and impulse supplier relationships management. Translate diversity and the S&R Global commitments into procurement category objectives and requirements.
Be an active leader in the procurement transformation program: drive transformation workstream and business alignment, lead implementation of best practices, procurement tools and processes, and procurement maturity in general.
Manage and develop further a team of 5 skilled individuals, fostering dynamic career trajectories and a culture of excellence.

Operational

Lead procurement operations for several countries such as Sweden, UK, Mexico, Germany, US, India and China, for a total spend of

53M € across Business Service, Content and POS
Ensure value maximization for Indirect procurement along 3 lenses: Buy Better (leverage Pernod Ricard's scale & professionalize procurement practices), Spend Better (harmonize policies, processes and manage demand tightly), Track Better (spend performance, compliance, sustainability and diversity)
Collaborate with local/business teams to understand their indirect spending needs and align procurement strategies accordingly: prioritize initiatives to maximize benefits & monitor category budgets to drive cost optimization
Governance: ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures against legislation and mitigation of risks
Manage and optimize the procurement process for indirect categories
- For localized spend categories: implement category sourcing strategies (business needs and supplier panel definition), lead commercial execution (negotiation, contractual and legals terms, regulatory compliance) and monitor supplier long-term
- For Co-ordinated spend categories: co-develop category strategies in close link with Global Procurement
- For Global spend categories: Execute Global Strategies locally and support Global Procurement on the discovery, market review process and the contract implementation.
- Manage all local Marketing categories and Marketing Suppliers including local Agencies for Creative Content, Production Studios as well as PR, Experiential and Activation.

+10-years’ international experience within procurement
Diverse and broad profile, with Marketing procurement experience, primarily Creative Content, Design and Content Production
Experience/deep knowledge in Marketing and collaborating with Marketing Key stakeholders
Comfortable with working both hands-on as well as strategically
