Join us as our new M anager for our Maintenance, Facilities & Utilities in Kalundborg
As manager of Maintenance, Facilities & Utilities you have the overall responsibility for bringing together and developing the technical area across the organization in Kalundborg . You have three leaders in reference and app . 30 dedicated employees in the department . You create coherence between production , maintenance, projects and technical support, and you ensure clear interfaces, responsibilities and well-functioning handovers. You are a present and people- oriented leader who creates the conditions for well-being, professional pride and development. Through trust, clear direction and respect for the different technical disciplines, you build a culture characterized by collaboration and learning.
The role requires an entrepreneurial approach: Y ou take initiative, challenge established habits and make things happen. You translate strategies and ideas into concrete actions and create progress through your employees. Safety, working environment and compliance are fundamental to the role and form an integral part of leadership, da ily operations and development.
Welcome to s ite Kalundborg
The Kalundborg site comprises end-to-end production of enzymes and is the largest enzyme production site within Novonesis . This means, Fermentation, Recovery, Solid Processing , Finish Goods Production , and Environmental Operations . In addition, it includes a dedicated Maintenance Department , Scheduling & Logistics and a Process & Technology Department that provide essential support to the production operations.
On site Kalundborg is also located partners like Quality Control, R&D and Project Engineering - all important stakeholders to Pro d uction .
The site employs approximately 800 people.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Bringing together and developing the technical area across the organization, including prioritizing tasks and resources
Living the Novonesis Culture Commitments and keep ensuring a thriving organization with focus on safety, work environment and engaged cross functional teamwork
Leading the work of harmonizing and further developing how maintenance operates across the organization through shared principles, processes and standards
Developing a professional maintenance culture with a focus on stable operations and continuous improvements
Ensuring systematic analysis of failures and incidents and ensuring insights are converted into improvements
Establishing structures and meeting forums that support collaboration and shared responsibility
Participating actively in cross-functional projects within Kalundborg and across Novonesis globally
Main responsibilities will involve setting clear priorities for the Maintenance , Facilities, and Utilities teams , empowering employees through effective leadership, and contributing to the site’s overall strategic objectives . You will play a key role in the local site leadership team while also engaging with the broader stakeholders within Novonesis .
To succeed you must:
Hold a bachelor’s or master’s d egree in mechanical engineering or related field
Have 5 years of leadership experience within a similar are a and lead the way regarding safety and working environment
Be strong in building relationships and collaborate naturally with many different professional groups
Have e ffective communication and interpersonal skills , preferable fluent in Danish and English
Be highly organized and results-driven, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic environment, staying proactive and innovative in addressing new challenges or opportunities
Have experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively with departments across the site and globally
