The Head of Off Trade Norway will be responsible for our relationship with most customers in retail further building the business. Negotiating yearly agreements, managing the external merchandisers as well as driving our promotion calendar will be your key responsibility. Furthermore, you will have to be our local source of knowledge for all things related in the channel and will carry full ownership of our performance. Grow to be an important part of our team with a Country-, and On-Trade KA Manager as well as Nordic FP/A, Revenue Management, Logistic and Marketing Support. Join a team full of international brands and colleagues in Oslo or Stockholm.

The role:
  • Develop and Strengthen Retail Relationships: Build strong partnerships with retail chains and banners to foster collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Drive Beer Category Growth: Implement strategies to expand the beer category within the retail channels, leveraging market insights and innovation.
  • Lead Key Negotiations: Negotiate contracts, promotions, and terms with retailers to achieve advantageous outcomes and alignment with company objectives.
  • Execute Activation Plans: Ensure seamless execution of activation calendars, including campaigns, product launches, and events.
  • Manage Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations for assigned customers, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor and Drive Channel Growth: Own the volume, revenue, and overall results for the retail channel, setting clear performance goals.
  • Conduct Market and Trend Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop Strategic Proposals: Use market knowledge and performance data to recommend actionable strategies for growth and improvement.
  • Enhance Commercial and Financial Outcomes: Monitor P&L performance, develop corrective actions with Revenue Management, and close performance gaps through data-driven decisions.
Who we’re looking for:
  • +3 years of experience in Commercial position (Off trade Channel), FMCG Retail Experience – focus on (alcoholic) Beverage segment preferred
  • Analytical, solution driven approach towards problem solving with hands on mentality and mental flexibility
  • Proven networker, strong at building relationships with financial knowledge and able to manage a P&L
  • Strong stakeholder management skills as well as being a team worker
  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with daily challenges
  • Advanced with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel)
  • Fluent in English, Swedish or Norwegian is a plus
