What's Involved:
This role not only plays an influential strategic role in our business, but is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our marketing and commercial success. You will be tasked with shaping the strategic direction and performance of our fruity, sparkling and Brown Brothers brand through blending long-term vision with hands-on impact.
Every day will be different, but some of your main responsibilities include:
- Category and Portfolio Leaderships through the development and implementation of a global category and portfolio strategy.
- Core brand ownership where you will act as a brand ambassador for Brown Brothers responsible for strategy, creative development and performance on a global scale.
- Leadership and collaboration where you will lead and coach a team ensuring high performance and partner with various departments of the business to ensure aligned delivery of the brand and category strategy.
- Financial and commercial accountability to manage brand and category budgets.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 10+ years experience in brand, category or marketing management ideally within wine, FMCG or premium beverage sectors.
- Proven success in leading brand strategy and execution at a portfolio or category level.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L's and marketing budgets
- Leadership experience with direct reports including coaching and performance development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Passion for wine, brand storytelling and consumer-centric innovation.
- Global Brand positioning and Integrated Commercial Planning strategy development.
- Creation of our newly created global growth strategy and prioritisation plan.
- Global Brand and Packaging refresh.
- Prosecco and Fruity creative platform development.
- Launch of our Prosecco Aluminium bottle, an Australian wine industry first.
- Launch of some of Australia's most exciting and successful innovations across Australia's #1 Prosecco and #1 Moscato varietials.
- Worked closely in partnership with our global sales team to create robust long-term partnership growth plans.
