As Head of Product Development, you'll lead the team responsible for bringing LSKD products to life, turning concepts into premium, high-performing products ready for market. Working closely with Design, Merchandising and Supply Chain, you'll balance quality, function, cost and speed while building a high-performing team that delivers exceptional product every season.
How you'll make an impact...
Product Development Leadership
- Lead the end‑to‑end product development process across all categories
- Set and maintain development standards, critical paths and ways of working
- Ensure development timelines align to Go‑To‑Market milestones and business priorities
- Provide technical and feasibility input into range and line planning discussions
- Be accountable for product quality, fit and performance prior to production sign‑off
- Oversee testing, wear trials and validation processes
- Identify and resolve quality or performance risks in partnership with internal teams and suppliers
- Ensure all product meets compliance, safety and sustainability requirements
- Partner closely with Design, Merchandising and Supply Chain to align vision, cost, timing and execution
- Translate design intent into executable development plans
- Present development status, risks and recommendations at key product forums
- Support Creative Direction with development insight and constraints
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with development and manufacturing partners
- Partner with Sourcing to align supplier capability to product requirements
- Support cost engineering initiatives while protecting performance and quality
- Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency and supplier performance
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing product development team
- Foster a collaborative, accountable and growth‑oriented team culture
- Establish clear role ownership, development expectations and workflows
- Champion continuous improvement across tools, systems and processes
- Ensure effective use and integrity of PLM systems (3 Clicks) and supporting tools
- Maintain accurate development documentation and visibility across the product lifecycle
- Identify opportunities to improve development workflows and scalability
- Recommending development timelines, construction approaches and cost implications
- Executing approved product development plans
- Signing off on technical readiness, fit and quality prior to production
- Escalating risks and trade‑offs with clear options and recommendations
