About the Role:
As the Head of Quality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading SwanCare’s approach to clinical governance, service quality and regulatory assurance. This newly created senior leadership position will drive the design and implementation of quality systems that deliver safe, accountable and compassionate care across all SwanCare services.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will:
- Lead the development and integration of robust quality and clinical governance frameworks.
- Oversee compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring readiness for accreditation and external audits.
- Manage SwanCare's relationship with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
- Provide strategic leadership for clinical education and capability development, empowering teams to deliver consistently high standards of care.
- Use data-driven insights to identify trends, manage risk, and implement sustainable improvements in care delivery.

Key Role Requirements:
You may come from a nursing, allied health, or paramedic background. What matters most is your passion, integrity and ability to lead change with courage and purpose. You're someone who can connect with people, inspire excellence and turn vision into action.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Extensive experience leading clinical governance, quality, or compliance in aged care, healthcare, or human services.
- Deep understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation processes and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to manage regulatory relationships, including engagement with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
- Skilled in analysing data and translating insights into targeted improvement strategies.
- Experience leading incident reviews, complaint management and continuous improvement planning.
- Exceptional leadership capability with the ability to engage and influence across all levels of the organistion.
- Highly motivated, self-directed professional who thrives in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
- Permanent working rights within Australia.
- National Police Clearance.
