As the Asia Pacific Regional Head of Quality Management & EHS, you will lead and manage Quality and EHS initiatives across Siemens Mobility offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia & New Zealand, and India. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Regional CEO, you will drive strategic improvements, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Define and implement regional Quality and EHS strategies. Act as a trusted advisor to country CEOs, aligning operations with global policies and best practices.
  • Performance & Compliance Management: Develop and oversee an Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with regulations and driving risk management strategies.
  • People & Performance Management: Set targets, evaluate performance, and oversee staffing and training for Quality & EHS positions. Promote continuous learning through competence management programs.
  • Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Plan and align resources to support Quality & EHS initiatives, ensuring adequate budget allocation.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for Quality and EHS matters, developing communication strategies to enhance awareness and collaboration.
  • Authority & Decision-Making: Hold veto authority for Quality & EHS deliverables and enforce Stop Work Authority for EHS compliance.

Quality Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Management community, implementing policies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee Quality reporting and Management Review processes.

EHS Responsibilities:

  • Support the Mobility CEO in fulfilling EHS responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, customer, and Siemens internal EHS requirements.
  • Develop and implement EHS roadmaps and monitor global program effectiveness.

Your qualifications and skills to create a better tomorrow.

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with strong management expertise.
  • At least 10 years of practical experience in a relevant field, preferably in the Railway industry.
  • Over 8 years of experience in Quality Management and EHS management, including 5 years of on-site oversight.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, managing projects, and international business.
