Summary

As Head of RLT, you will play a key role in developing and implementing cross-functional strategies for assets moving from Global to International TA. Working on early brand plans and turning them into tailored, competitive launch strategies, you’ll lay the groundwork for successful market introductions that support Novartis’ growth on a global, regional, and local scale.

About the Role

  • Lead the planning and execution of high-impact launches, building continuous collaboration across divisions and markets to ensure success.
  • Drive the growth of RLT by strategically managing product lifecycle, launching new products, and establishing effective partnerships.
  • Shape market-leading strategies and campaigns tailored to major markets, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.
  • Build enduring relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, KOLs, payors, and specialty pharmacies, while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor market trends and product performance, adjusting strategies in real-time to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Partner across teams to develop agile, customer-led, digital solutions tailored to the dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Accelerate salesforce capabilities, optimize performance, and deliver innovative commercial strategies to thrive in evolving markets.
  • Work alongside global, regional, and country teams to forecast, assess, and manage product portfolios, in-licensing opportunities, and lifecycle plans.

What you will bring to Novartis:

  • Proven experience with P&L accountability paired with strong leadership centred around curious, inspired, unbossed and integrity.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare sector dynamics, including key market trends and priority disease areas.
  • A track record of strategic success in product launches, lifecycle management, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Inspirational leadership with advanced skills in negotiation, asset management, market access, and cross-functional collaboration.
