Are you a hands-on sales leader who leads from the front and enjoys building growth through people? Would you be our new Head of Sales?

In this role, you will lead and coach a team of 11 experienced B2B-sales professionals, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition. You bring energy and structure to hunter-driven sales, supporting your team in identifying opportunities, opening doors, and closing deals. At the same time, you strengthen long-term relationships with our existing customers. Your role is key in shaping our customer-centric way of working and ensuring we deliver on our promise: responsibly delivering what matters, on your terms.

You’ll work closely with your team, peers across sales, and colleagues in operations, marketing, and other business units – in a dynamic and supportive environment where people genuinely want to succeed together.

We’re looking for an exceptional people leader who is approachable, curious, and commercially sharp. You enjoy being present in your team’s daily work and creating an atmosphere where people feel motivated, supported, and accountable.

In this role, you will report to Lasse Mononen, Director Customer Service & New Sales.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales organization in line with Posti's leadership principles.
  • Develop and nurture trusted relationships with key decision-makers in our wide customer base, including both SME and large companies.
  • Drive new business growth and expand opportunities with existing clients through a strong commercial mindset.
  • Work hands-on with your team, leading from the front while maintaining a strategic view on business development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, operations, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies and drive growth.
  • Act as a champion of commercial excellence, always staying two steps ahead to proactively drive results.

What we expect from you:

  • A higher education degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in B2B sales management, with a proven track record in leadership and sales.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and empower an experienced team.
  • Experience in leading hunter-type sales, with a focus on new business acquisition.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset – you are comfortable using data to guide decisions and develop sales activities.
  • You have solid technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel), and a good understanding of utilizing modern sales tools and AI.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a results-driven, growth-oriented approach.
  • The courage to challenge conventional thinking and bring fresh perspectives.
  • Experience in logistics or related industries is an advantage.
  • Fluency in both Finnish and English is required.
