Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Health And Safety Advisor located in County Carlow, Ireland. The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments and audits, monitoring compliance with regulations, and providing safety training to employees. The role also involves investigating accidents and incidents, advising on occupational health matters, and collaborating with the Environment Health and Safety (EHS) team to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Health & Safety, Occupational Health Certificate/Diploma or similar
- Skills in Accident Investigation
- Knowledge and experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate
Pay: From €30,000.00 per year
