Stepping Stones Care Ltd, was established in 2008 we provide residential care to individuals with an intellectual disability and/or Autism to enjoy an ordinary life while being supported and empowered so that they can live their life to the fullest while in a residential setting.

This is a small service for people with high care needs.

Job Title: Health care assistant and Social Care Worker

Status: Full Time Contract

Location: Drogheda, Co. Meath

Duties

• Support the team to ensure that the service you provide complies with the applicable HIQA regulations.
• Sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.
• Ensure compliance with record keeping is in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.
• Work directly with individuals and completing administrative tasks relating to the day-to-day running of the house.
• Be highly organised, have excellent report writing and IT and time management skills.
• Flexibility and openness to change

Our ideal candidate

• Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications).
• Relevant qualifications of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare
• Experience supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Experience in a HIQA regulation environment and supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards.
• Full Clean Driving License

• Driving Licence (required)
• Level 5 in Healthcare Qualification (preferred)
• Level 7 Social Care Qualification (preferred)
