About the Role
The responsibilities of the HCA, includes assisting with clinical care for patients as well as providing some care independently as delegated by the Registered Nurse, supporting with the day-to-day management of supplies and ordering, administrative tasks and maintenance of equipment. The work is varied and interesting as the service has scope for growth into the future to better meet the needs of our population.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This role is primarily based in the Outpatient Clinic at the Napier Health Centre, but also offers the opportunity to provide support across the wider Health Centre. There is a large variety of specialty appointments and care offered at the Health Centre. No two days will be the same with Specialist Clinicians having regular clinics, including orthopaedics, cardiology, neurology, urology, vascular and gynaecology.
