Health Care Assistant - Wilson Centre

The Wilson Centre, based in Takapuna, are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our team.

Our Out of Home Child Respite Service is for children and young people who have disabilities, are medically fragile and have high support needs. The Child Rehabilitation Service provides intensive nursing and therapy to clients, as part of a multidisciplinary team, following orthopaedic surgery procedures or traumatic/acquired brain injury.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who has good communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.

You will have experience working with children who have special needs, high energy levels and a genuine interest and commitment to providing quality skilled care and opportunities for fun & recreation to our clients.

The services are available to clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we need people who have flexibility to work rostered shifts, including night shifts over this time.
