The Role

You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.

Hours: Permanent, part-time. Please state which position you are interested in your cover letter.

  • Position 01: 38.5 hours per fortnight to be worked 5.5hrs/day, 0730-1330hrs on Week one: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Week two: Monday, Thursday & Friday
  • Position 02: 21 hours per fortnight to be worked 3hrs/day, 0930-1230hrs on Week one: Monday, Tuesday and Friday, Saturday & Sunday and Week two: Wednesday & Thursday
  • Position 03: 38.5 hours per fortnight to be worked 5.5hrs/day, 0830-1430hrs on Week one: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Week two: Monday, Thursday & Friday
  • Position 04: 28 hours per fortnight to be worked 4hrs/day, 1600-2000hrs on Week one: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Week two: Monday, Thursday & Friday


About You

The ideal applicant will:

  • Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
  • Work well in a team
  • Enjoy working alongside older people
  • Be physically fit and strong
  • Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  • Experience in an aged care environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent will be an added advantage
