Shift Requirement: This role operates on afternoon/evening shifts, Monday to Friday, 1600–1230.

What you'll be doing

In this hands-on role, you will ensure the integrity, accessibility and accuracy of patient health records across both digital and paper-based systems.

  • Perform document imaging including preparation, scanning and quality checks
  • Digitise clinical documentation into the electronic medical record system
  • Retrieve, track, file and manage healthcare records in line with policy
  • Maintain accurate tracking systems for all records movement and storage
  • Liaise with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care delivery

  • Experience in an administrative position and/or knowledge and experience in health administrative functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise your workload so that you are able to meet deadlines.
  • Proven attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Developed computer skills and/or experience with document imaging, patient administrations systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills with sound oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a productive team member and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Demonstrated understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles and how they are applied in the hospital setting.
