We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated and safety-focused Health & Safety Officer to support and enhance our safety systems across all operations.

Role Overview

As a Health & Safety Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the company’s health and safety management systems, ensuring full compliance with Irish legislation including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Acts and asbestos-specific regulations. The role requires a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health & safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple project locations.
• Ensure compliance with HSA regulations, including asbestos-related legislation.
• Review and prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Support incident/accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide health & safety guidance and training to site teams and management.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor contractor and employee compliance with company safety standards.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and assist during inspections where required.
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €14,000.00-€24,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 per week
