Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant at Signacare Bunclody, your responsibilities will include:
Providing high-quality personal care, including assistance with mobility, dressing, bathing, and toileting
Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and daily activities
Offering companionship and emotional support to help promote wellbeing and independence
Monitoring and recording observations and reporting changes to nursing staff
Working collaboratively with the wider care team to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Ensuring accurate and confidential documentation of all care delivered
Requirements
A compassionate, reliable, and positive attitude with a genuine interest in caring for older adults
Ideally 1+ year's experience in elder care or a similar caregiving role (not essential)
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (completed or in progress)
Fluent spoken and written English
Garda clearance and suitable character references
