Job Title: Healthcare Companion Driver (Part Time/Casual Position)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Healthcare Companion Driver to transport veterans to and from medical appointments. This is a part-time/casual position, ideal for someone who is community-minded, flexible, and committed to providing a respectful and safe transport experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport veterans to scheduled medical appointments, both locally and long-distance (including destinations in the local area as well as Petawawa, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and surrounding areas)
• Provide courteous, professional, and timely service
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Assist clients in and out of the vehicle as needed
• Monitor and report any concerns or incidents promptly

Requirements:

• Valid CPR Level C, Standard First Aid, and AED certification
• Clean driving record
• Valid driver’s license (Class G or equivalent)
• Current and clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Comfortable with long-distance driving
• Prior experience working with veterans or in healthcare/transport settings is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
