Hearing Aid Audiologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of auditory health and be committed to providing exceptional care to patients experiencing hearing-related issues. As an Audiologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat hearing disorders, while also educating patients about their conditions and the available treatment options.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations to assess patients' hearing abilities.
• Diagnose hearing impairments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
• Provide counselling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss and management strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in audiology practices and technologies.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in Audiology or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using audiological equipment and software for assessments.
