Description:
About the role

Reporting to the workshop supervisor, you will be responsible for maintenance and servicing of general and specialised road construction equipment and trucks as well as workshop-related administrative duties. We are seeking those who are willing to travel around the state at times. Competitive hourly rate of up to $50 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Duties

• Ability to work unsupervised
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective and productive working relationships
• A commitment to safe work practices producing quality workmanship within the required timeframe
• Be available to travel throughout NSW
• Ability to work various hours depending on work load as required
• Well-developed communication skills along with a team-oriented outlook.

Skills & Experience

• Australian Recognised relevant trade certificates and qualifications (heavy vehicle mechanic qualifications essential)
• Trade qualified truck mechanic
• Maintenance and Servicing experience on small and large equipment
• Previous experience working in planned and reactive maintenance environments, diagnosis, overhaul and maintenance repairs of heavy mobile plant and equipment.
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence (HR license is preferred)
