Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Needed For Class 8 Otr Trucking Company

Perform General Maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers, included but not limited to:

Perform PM Services

Change and Adjust Brakes

Mount & Dismount Tires

Install and repair auto inflation systems

Diagnose and repair ABS systems

Diagnose and repair Air leaks

Preventative Maintenance and DOT inspections

No major overhaul or rebuilds (ie. no engine rebuilds or swaps and no major transmission repairs)

Must be able to routinely life over 100 pounds.

Perform trailer body & door repairs.

Must be knowledgeable of regulations and able to answer questions on the application of the regulations.

Install ELD'(could require removal and replacement of the dash)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Commercial diesel mechanic: 1 year (Required)

• Driver's License (Required)
• Brake Certification (Required)
