Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing larger vehicles, and executing recoveries on all types of vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of the towing industry, a CDL, no felonies, and overall professionalism.

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday: 8am - 6pm

SCHEDULE REQUIRES: On call every other night and every other weekend. (YOU MUST LIVE CLOSE ENOUGH TO ONE OF OUR FACILITIES OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO DRIVE A TRUCK HOME)

Pay Rate:

Pay is based on experience and is up for conversation during the interview. Pay is time and a half over 40 hours and you are paid hourly not commission.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently, including automatic and manual vehicles.
• Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring minimal risk of damage.
• Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery.
• Communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs and provide timely support.
• Manage conflicts professionally while maintaining a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
• Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions.
• Collaborate with dispatchers to respond promptly to service calls.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required as well as 2 years of towing experience.
• Ability to drive various types of tow trucks
• Must be physically fit to perform tasks that involve lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
