This position as a heavy equipment operator requires 2-3 years experience in a Surface Mine operation. While this position is based out of Cambridge, Ontario, applicants may be required to travel to other work sites throughout Ontario (transportation and lodging for locations out of town is provided by the company). We are currently looking to fill day shift positions in the operation of various equipment including feed loader, clean-up loader, excavator as well as maintenance and general site clean-up. Successful applicants will have the following skills:
o High School Graduate or Equivalent
o Basic Working and Maintenance knowledge of all equipment used on a job site: Generalist background with broad knowledge of all aspects of the Aggregate Industry
o Work experience in a pit or quarry an asset
o Valid Driver's license (AZ license an asset)
o Basic knowledge of Steel Cutting, Welding and Fabrication an asset
o Surface Miner Common Core
o WSIB I & II an asset
o Flexible / Willing to work at various locations

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
