<Duties>

  • Operate a wide range of heavy equipment including CAT dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other construction machinery to perform tasks such as grading, digging, lifting, and material movement.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance or report issues promptly.
  • Assist with site preparation activities by leveling ground, excavating trenches, and setting foundations with precision.
  • Transport materials and equipment across construction sites efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
  • Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment usage schedules and optimize productivity.
  • Maintain detailed records of equipment operation logs, inspection reports, and maintenance schedules for accountability and compliance purposes.

<Experience>

  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.
  • Read Blueprints
  • Set Grades with transits and GPS
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with construction machinery and perform routine maintenance.
  • Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols is essential.
  • Knowledge of construction materials handling processes including concrete mixing operations is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience working with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are vital for success in this role. Pay: $30.09 - $36.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
