We are a freight business operating around Nation wide, based primarily in Christchurch (Floating both islands in New Zealand) are currently seeking 3 permanent truck drivers to join our busy team.
The key responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:
- Driving heavy vehicles.
- Loading and unloading carboard and other material from commercial businesses.
- Ensuring compliance with vehicle load limits and safetyregulations.
- Completing the necessary paperwork as required under legislation and business procedures.
- Delivering goods to specified customers with specified time frame. To assist in Loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintaining truck in clean and tidy condition to comply with standard industry requirement;
- Filling log book daily and handing in a copy on a fortnightly basis to the office. Picking up the manifest/paper work from dispatch for delivery.
Skills and experience required:
- The successful candidate must hold at least a class 5 driver licence (or overseas equivalent)
- Ability to drive forklifts
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Six months of experience driving trucks would be considered positive
- Ability to pass drug and criminal history checks if required
- Must be available Monday to Saturday for shift work.
- Should be physically fit as job may involve jumping up and down from the truck frequently and Heavy lifting

Minimum of 30 hours a week.
Remuneration ranges from $29 - $32 per hour, depending on experience and skills you bring to the role.
