Heli Base Office Manager

As our Heli Base Office Manager, you will lead a team of Base Coordinators to run the helicopter ground operations in all aspects of efficiency, profitability, quality performance, customer service, training and health & safety. You will support the senior management team in continually improving and future proofing the operation.
Tasks include but are not limited to: Recruiting, training and supervising Base Coordinators; overseeing reservations and enquiries; managing all flight coordination and tracking of; overseeing daily transactions and account charges.
Candidates require:
- 2yrs minimum experience as Base Coordinator in a Helicopter/Aviation company (or proven aptitude in similar role)
- 2yrs minimum supervisory experience, preferably in the tourism industry
- Firsthand knowledge of aircraft tracking platforms
- Experience using reservations systems - IBIS is preferable
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to multi task
- Enthusiasm, professionalism and a strong commitment to health and safety
- Competent computer skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A legal right to live and work in New Zealand
- Full and clean driver’s license
This Queenstown based role includes weekend work, public holidays and long hours on busy days. The successful applicant will start from $32.00 per hour, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
