Helicopter Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)

We are looking for a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team and support our diverse, specialized fleet and full-service maintenance operations.

The Role

As an AME at Key Aviation, you are the backbone of our flight safety. We are a premier service provider and a hub for complete aircraft refurbishments, trusted to look after the fleets of several operators across British Columbia and the Yukon. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of experts to maintain high-utilization aircraft and return refurbishments to service in "like-new" condition.

Our Specialized Fleet

Key Aviation Services Inc. specializes in the maintenance and refurbishment of some of the industry’s most versatile machines:

· Airbus Series: AS350 (AStar), AS355 (TwinStar), H125, and H130.

· MD Series: MD500 Series.

· Bell Series: Bell 206 Series (JetRanger/LongRanger).

Comprehensive In-House Departments

We offer a true "one-stop-shop" environment. You will collaborate with or support our specialized departments, including:

· Structures & Composite Repairs

· Avionics

· Component Overhaul

· Line Maintenance

· Paint & Refurbishment

Key Responsibilities

· Maintenance & Overhaul: Perform scheduled maintenance and major refurbishments on airframes and engines.

· Operator Support: Provide high-level service to our diverse client base across BC and the Yukon.

· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

· Quality Control: Maintain meticulous technical records in compliance with Transport Canada regulations.

· Field Support: Occasional travel to provide on-site maintenance support in remote and beautiful locations.

What You Bring

· Licensing: A valid Transport Canada AME License (Category M1 or M2).

· Expertise: Specific experience or type ratings on Airbus AS350, AS355, EC130, H130, H125, MD500, or Bell 206 platforms is an asset but not required

· Versatility: Interest in working across various departments, from line maintenance to heavy structures and composite repairs.

· Mindset: A sharp eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
