About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HGV Panel Beater / spray painter with crash repair skills to join our busy commercial garage in North Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out body repairs on heavy goods vehicles, from minor damage to full structural repairs, ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform panel beating and body repair on HGVs, including straightening, filling, welding, and replacing damaged panels.

· Carry out full crash repairs, structural assessments, and restorative work following collisions.

· Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and applying topcoat finishes.

· Use spray-painting equipment to deliver high-quality paintwork and colour matching.

· Conduct chassis, body alignment, and frame straightening where required.

· Inspect completed work for accuracy, finish quality, and adherence to safety regulations.

· Maintain workshop tools and equipment to a high standard.

· Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining excellent workmanship.

· Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as an HGV Panel Beater and Spray Painter.

· Experience with crash repair, structural repairs, and body alignment.

· Competent in welding, filling, sanding, and general bodywork repair techniques.

· High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop.

· Full driving licence (HGV licence an advantage but not essential).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €45,000.00-€47,000.00 per year
