Position Summary:Saint Vincent Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025–2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for literature and language, strong pedagogical skills, and a commitment to the development of young women in a faith-based setting. We value flexibility, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a willingness to support the broader mission of the Academy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach English courses across multiple grade levels, with curriculum focused on reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication.
- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons that meet diverse student needs.
- Assess and evaluate student performance regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary initiatives and curriculum development.
- Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and community events.
- Commitment to the mission of Saint Vincent Academy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- NJ Teacher Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience teaching English at the high school level.
- Ability to teach World Cultures and/or Religious Studies is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

Pay: $53,500.00 - $55,000.00 per hour
