Position: Social Science / Social Studies Teacher (High School)

Qualifications

• Post Graduate degree in one or more of the following:
• Social Sciences
• Sociology
• History
• Political Science
• B.Ed preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the High School level

Skills & Requirements

• Strong command over Social Science subjects across grades
• Ability to design engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Competence in integrating real‑world applications and current affairs into classroom learning
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for mentoring and guiding students academically and holistically
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to participate in school events and academic planning

Responsibilities

• Teach Social Science subjects for High School students
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
• Facilitate interactive and activity‑based learning
• Track student progress and maintain academic records
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives
