The Opportunity

In line with our continued growth and the rapid expansion of Australia’s renewable energy and power transmission sectors, we are excited to introduce a newly created role: High Voltage Cable Jointing Team Lead, based at our Wingfield office.

As an industry leader in the delivery of high voltage infrastructure solutions, CPP continues to invest in building inhouse capability to meet growing project demand. This role is a key part of that strategy, establishing and leading our new internal HV cable jointing and terminating team to support project delivery.

Skills and Experiences:
Your Key Responsibilities

Building and leading an internal HV cable jointing and terminating team from the ground up
Ensuring all HV cable jointing and terminations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards
Driving performance, quality, and resource utilisation across all jointing activities
Supporting project teams with cable termination scope and coordination
Creating workflows, training programs, and team structures to support future growth

About You

Proven hand on experience in HV and MV cable jointing and termination, across a variety of cable types, jointing systems, and installation environments
Understanding of quality control processes including inspection, test procedures, and joint integrity verification
Experience mentoring, training, or supervising other cable jointers
High attention to detail and safety
Outcome and client focused mindset
Strong communication skills, able to liaise confidently with client engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors
Background in establishing or developing a new work group, crew, or capability, including defining roles and workflows (Desirable but not essential)
Experience within an Australian utility or renewable grid connection environment (Desirable but not essential)
