Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely dispatch of freight.
• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track shipments and optimize routes.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing them with necessary information regarding their routes and schedules.
• Analyze data related to shipping operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records through data entry and ensure all information is up-to-date.
• Handle phone systems professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and vendors.
• Collaborate with 3PL providers to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in Rose rocket or similar software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate operational data effectively.
• Experience with freight management and logistics coordination.
• Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with phone systems and effective communication techniques.
• Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is advantageous.
