Footprints Community is a well-regarded not-for-profit of community-based services, working in the community for over 30 years. We specialise in working with older people, those that experience disability, mental illness, as well as those who are at risk of homelessness.

About the role

Our Home Care Support Worker team is a highly valued and integral part of the Footprints client directed care model of service delivery. We are seeking experienced home care support workers who will share in our passion for supporting our clients to live independently and to enhance their daily quality of life.

The purpose of these roles is to support the individual needs of older people or people with a disability to remain living independently at home through the provision of domestic assistance, personal care and medication assistance (Cert III only) and lifestyle/social connection activities.

About you

• You will enjoy working with our clients and have a caring, committed, and compassionate approach.
• You possess a current Drivers Licence and your own registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.
• You must have a current National NDIS Worker Screening (formerly Yellow Card) ready to commence.
• You must have a current First Aid/CPR certificate.
• You must be confident in using different forms of technology such as smart phones, apps, email, and internet.
• Choose to work with Disability or Aged Care clients.
  
• Be physically fit to undertake the requirements of the role.
• Ability to read google maps and travel across the service delivery areas.
