Home Care Worker - Permanent Part Time

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career where you can truly make a difference? You will be part of our dynamic team that is very important to the community.

Working with our amazing St Basil’s team you will provide essential support to our clients in their homes where you will assist with a variety of daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Your caring heart and helping hands will enable our clients to live comfortably in their own homes.

Your duties will include (but not limited to):
Assisting in the provision of individualised care to your clients

Helping your clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans, including personal care, domestic assistance, and social support

Accompanying your clients for community access, including grocery shopping, social activities, and appointments

You will ensure privacy, confidentiality, and dignity for all your clients

Responding to emergency situations using first aid as required

Maintaining accurate records of care to your clients

Reporting any incidents or hazards that impact your clients

What you bring:

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care
• NDIS Worker screening check
• First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Hold a current Australian driver's license and have a registered and insured vehicle
• Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
• You will be pro-active and creative in your approach, considering our clients and their needs
• An ability to speak Greek is desirable
