Job Title: HVAC/R Comfort Advisor Representative with NYSERDA Clean Heat Experience

Location: Upstate, NY
About the Company: Interstate Heating Inc. is a leading provider of energy-efficient heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) solutions. We are dedicated to helping our customers improve their indoor comfort while reducing their energy costs and carbon footprint.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced HVAC/R Sales Representative with a proven track record of success in the Upstate NY area. The ideal candidate will have experience selling high-efficiency HVAC/R equipment and be familiar with the NYSERDA Clean Heat Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the NYSERDA Clean Heat Program and its requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, building owners, and facility managers.
- Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs and provide recommendations for energy-efficient HVAC/R solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals for HVAC/R equipment, including costs and estimated energy savings.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Provide technical support and training to customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the company's CRM system.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC/R sales, with a focus on high-efficiency equipment.
- Knowledge of the NYSERDA Clean Heat Program and experience selling equipment under this program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Proven track record of successful sales and the ability to close deals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to provide technical support and training to customers.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R equipment and systems, including energy-efficient technologies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
