Role Title: Home Support Supervisor

Reporting To: Home Support Manager or Designate

Based: Dublin 12

Supporting the Community of: Ballyfermot & Surrounding Area’s

Purpose of the Role:

CareGivers Ireland are currently seeking a Home Support Supervisor for our Dublin office. The successful applicant in this role will work closely with the Home Support Manager and a team of Home Care Assistants, ensuring, overseeing and coordinating the provision of Home Support Services to our clients within their homes and communities.

Primary Responsibilities:

This is an office-based role from Monday to Friday at our Head Office in Walkinstown. It is ideal for someone who is training to become a Home Support Manager or Home Care Manager.

Although you may not provide direct care, you will be responsible for performing client assessments and conducting national carer competency assessments. You will oversee the home care support schedule and be available to address any queries that clients, next of kin, or homecare assistants may have.

Key Skills, Competencies & Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will hold a Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare as a minimum.
  • The ideal candidate will be working towards a QQI Level 6 in Health Services Supervisory Management or equivalent, although this isn't essential.
  • Proven experience in the Home Support industry as a Home Care Assistant is a must, with at least 1 years office experience a distinct advantage.
  • Full Driver’s Licence and own car is a must.
  • Great communicator, with compassion, empathy, and a commitment to promoting the well-being and independence of clients.
  • Knowledge of Scheduling Programs is an advantage.

Please Note:

The role may involve occasional travel within the community to visit clients' homes and attend meetings with stakeholders. Flexible work hours may be required to accommodate clients' schedules and staff supervision needs.

Pay: €38,000.00 per year
