This is a Community Employment (CE) Scheme training and development position. No experience required but CE rules and eligibility apply. You MUST be in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment from the Irish Government and be resident in Ireland.
Join the great team at the Hook Lighthouse and help support one of Ireland's leading attractions.
Key Tasks:
o To ensure orderly movement and safety of visitors during events and peak visiting hours.
o Regular collection and disposal of litter to maintain the cleanliness of the lighthouse premises.
o Addressing minor repairs and general maintenance of the facilities
o Assisting with the setting up and dismantling of equipment for events.
Skills & Experience Developed:
o Gain experience in the management of people moving through the site.
o Gain experience and skills in general facilities maintenance.
o Gain experience of event management.
o Work with colleagues to ensure the premises are kept clean and tidy.
o Gain good communication and IT skills.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €271.50 per week
Expected hours: 19.5 per week
