Due to further expansion, we are looking to recruit a horticultural technician. You will be expected to have a good working knowledge of plants and science and be someone who works methodically, always paying attention to detail.

This role involves growing, maintaining and ensuring the health of greenery both in indoor and outdoor settings. You will oversee the growth of plants, administer fertilizers when necessary and controlling the watering, irrigation systems to keep the greenery hydrated. Heath checks to examine for disease or nutrient deficiencies and removal of dead plant material.

You will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills when dealing with all clients. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and communicate plant replacements and issues that arise to management as well as being content to work alone. This will have an element of physical natured work in installation work and a full driving license and confidence in driving larger vehicles is a requirement.

Technical Requirements and job description:

· Preparing soil for seed planting

· Growing plants using different techniques

· Monitoring and maintaining indoor and outdoor plants.

· Ordering plants and equipment

· Providing advice and guidance as needed.

· Watering and fertilizing plants

· Controlling plant disease and pests.

· Recycling waste materials

· Resolving issues as they arise to minimize losses.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €30,160.00-€35,360.00 per year
