Hospitality Worker - Aged Care

About the role

We have opportunities for experienced Hospitality Workers, which includes shifts within cleaning, kitchen hand and laundry across the Nhulunbuy, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Mutitjulu and Docker River regions.

These positions are being offered on a permanent, full-time basis and offers an attractive remuneration package $65,500-$66,500 (pending experience) including salary packaging and flexible working conditions.

Your role as a Hospitality Worker will see you providing support across kitchen hand, laundry and cleaning duties which includes cleaning both within residents’ rooms and common areas, linen and personal laundry services as well as preparing, dishwashing and serving meals to our residents.

As the ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the hospitality services in our Aged Care facilities.

Skills & experience:

To be considered for this role, you must submit a resume identifying the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience in working in one or more of the core areas of a Hospitality worker – Cleaning, Laundry, or Kitchen support.
• Currently holds or willing to obtain the Certified Food Handlers Certificate
• Be well presented, organised, and committed to work.
• Comfortable to be flexible in your duties and have shifts rotate around Cleaning, Laundry and Kitchen duties.
• Have a caring and supportive nature towards vulnerable people.
• Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
• An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
